This year was also see the introduction of the GSMA 'Innovation Awards' at 3GSM World Congress Asia 2006. In addition to the Innovation Forum these awards are designed to support innovation in the Asian mobile industry by bringing together small and start-up companies with industry investors, mobile operators and vendors.
